Green Lizard Technologies Ltd has received an Invest NI Grant for Research and Development, supporting company innovation in services, products and processes. This technology is part financed by the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme for Northern Ireland and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The technology ‘ Developing Vegetable Oil Refining and Purification Technology‘ will be implemented over the next 12 months and aims to provide environmentally benign and sustainable novel technology to reduce free fatty acid content and trace metal contamination. The catalysts and additives developed by GLT will allow for energy-efficient and low-waste sustainable industrial processes to produce ultrapure vegetable oils.
